Glass Skin Girlie.

Oh. Hi. Yes, it’s 2025. Has it been a while since we chatted? Mm hmm. Nevertheless…

Thanks for joining me in this odd year. I’m an even number kind of gal but whatevs, right? We’re here.

Life is the same as it was in 2024: one day at a time. My pup and I are living our Lone Star State life. One thing I’ve been doing daily is transforming my skin.

I’ve talked about being a skincare girlie in the past. But caring for my skin took on a higher importance during the pandemic. I couldn’t trade on the African juices anymore, quite frankly, and the stress of trying to survive a whole panic at the disco did its damage, including affecting my skin. So I began to focus on improving this epidermis.

Thanks to Pinterest and research, I learned the best way to layer my skincare. It’s all been great.

My next goal: I want glass skin. There’s really nothing like seeing the reflective beauty of smooth, well-cared for skin. We’re on our way. See below.

FYI: I have combination skin, with oil concentrated in my T-zone and I’m acne prone for the areas that I wax, particularly along my chin.

Here are my faves.

•La Roche Posay: from cleansers to moisturizers, I love LRP. Like love. Perfect for sensitive skin like mine. I use the face wash, the double repair moisturizer, and the medicated gel for those acne moments.

•Turmeric, turmeric, turmeric: from bars to pads, turmeric has been amazing for my skin. Some of the pads have kojic acid, so SPF is important for the daytime. But turmeric has been great for diminishing hyperpigmentation and dark spots.

•Tula Skincare: you know how I feel about Tula. They’re the bee’s knees.

•Serums: from niacinamide to hyaluronic acid, serums have done wonders for my glass skin girlie goals. They soften my skin and help with the issues I mentioned earlier.

•Good Molecules: this is new to my regimen, and I’m really into their niacinamide brightening toner.

What are your go-to products and methods?

Here’s to self-caring however we can.

  1. i love this! i def wanna try La Roche Posay now! Your skin looks flawless already

For me consistency with regime is what really tends to save my skin. Recently i’ve been using Mediheal products, particularly their brightening sheet mask and their brightening skin toner pads and they def have added a glow to my skin
