Ah! Yes, for cake I will optimisitically keep a knife underneath my pillow, but it still counts as optimism if said knife is used in self-defence if that someone fails to declare cake-ish intentions, right? 😀

I prefer to think of myself as a pessimistic optimist. Just my way of saying that I hope for the best but prepare for the worst. Now I want cake.
